Here it is guys! This week’s cover: the Mad Men issue. 1960’s field trip! Look ahead to a fun week on our tumblr.
This little girl’s mother is from Helsinki, Finland.
While her daughter is soundly asleep, she creates a completely different world … from whatever she can find around her! That’s how both of them became really famous. What a truly fabulous imagination.

I’ve been stuck at home for the past two days, basically rolling around in bed and keeping my fingers crossed that this sudden onset of the flu will help me lose weight. I feel dreadful. The days seem to go by far more slowly than they do when I’m at work, and I find myself looking at the clock on…
This looks awesome and terrifying at the same time. Astig.
For his 50th birthday celebration today, my Uncle Kevin revived the Go family tradition of jumping over the fire for the Chinese New Year.
We actually thought it was some ancient tradition dating back centuries, and perhaps it has its roots in some sort of folklore, but as it turns out, it was just my great-grandfather, Jimmy Go Puan Seng, who started it. I actually kind of like that even better; it makes it ours.
Anyway, we jump over the fire to burn away all the bad luck and negative karma of the year before. It’s always a little scary for a first-timer (like my youngest brother, Santi), but after the first jump, you just want to go again and again.
I did. (Unfortunately, my photo is not as badass because it was my brother who took it. Haha!)
I love the idea that everything that happened before just goes up in smoke, giving you a burst of positivity and leaving the new year full of possibilities.
Maybe I’ll do this for my 25th birthday. And get a bouncy castle.
Uy, your mom’s really pretty. You look like her. :)
We went to Boracay for my parents’ 25th anniversary, and stayed at Discovery Shores. Whatever you’ve heard about the level of service there is absolutely true. They treat you like royalty. Like, seriously. Our names were embroidered on our pillowcases. And look at the last photo in this set! They brought me water while I was tanning. And, among several other things, offered me cucumber slices for my eyes and orange slices for my cheeks. While I was in the water, I spotted one of the staff folding my clothes and sarongs and arranging them neatly on my lounge chair. They even polish your sunglasses for you! THAT SHIT CRAY. I LOVE IT.
More photos from my mother’s camera when I get my hands on it.
